Alicia Hamilton, PA-C, is a military-trained Physician Associate (PA) who recently retired after 29 years of Army National Guard service. The autonomy of an austere environment coupled with training and experience taught her to trust her instincts. Fiercely patriotic, she believes in a model of choice in medicine.
As a Family Practice PA, she specializes in a myriad of conditions: blood pressure, thyroid, chronic pain, food or environmental sensitivities, hormonal imbalances, gut health, mental health, and more.
Her goal is to individualize medicine, giving her patients an opportunity to make informed decisions about their health and well-being based on the belief that knowledge is the best defense. She believes medicine should focus on treating the whole body with appropriate testing, reasoning, and providing answers — not simply reaching for the first solution.

I've been with MAC for a little over a year, and with my background in Biochemistry, Lab 1 is pretty much my second home. Whether it’s capsules, ointments, or troches, I’m usually in the middle of mixing something—fully caffeinated and blasting music while I work (which may or may not be heard by the whole pharmacy). I love being part of the MAC team and doing what I do every day.
A business student with a passion for learning and creativity, Lauren joined the team in 2023 as a lab assistant and gradually took on more responsibility as she proved herself to be reliable and efficient.
Over time, she discovered a love for the marketing side of the business and now also supports the online store. She helps keep MAC running smoothly behind the scenes — whether it's organizing inventory, managing retail and supplements, or helping execute day-to-day operations with care and attention to detail.
Working at a small, patient-centered business has deepened her passion for entrepreneurship. Surrounded by people who care deeply about their work and the people they serve, she’s inspired daily to grow — both professionally and personally.
She values MAC’s commitment to treating every patient as a whole person and appreciates being part of a team that approaches healthcare with care, integrity, and a proactive mindset.
