Full Time Compounding Pharmacist

Montana Apothecary & Compounding (M.A.C.) — the new modern apothecary — is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate, patient-centered Pharmacist to join our team in Great Falls! This is not your average retail pharmacy job — this clinical position blends traditional compounding with hands-on patient consultations and direct collaboration with our in-house providers who see patients daily.

What You'll Do

  • Play a pivotal clinical role: Consult with patients directly, provide medication counseling, and be a key player in our collaborative care team.
  • Compound a variety of non-sterile formulations — including capsules, topicals, and liquids — from scratch in our USP 795/800 compliant labs.
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians with a supportive and approachable leadership style.
  • Collaborate with providers to create patient-centered therapeutic plans and participate in provider education and outreach.
  • Answer prescriber and patient questions with confidence and care.
  • Keep operations running smoothly by managing inventory, overseeing workflow, and jumping in wherever needed.
  • Support our community presence through educational calls or virtual meetings with local health professionals.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day pharmacy operations alongside the Pharmacist-in-Charge with checking prescriptions

Who You Are

  • A licensed Montana Pharmacist who’s enthusiastic about compounding and clinical care.
  • Skilled in counseling patients and communicating with both healthcare professionals and the public.
  • Passionate about wellness, functional medicine, and customized therapies.
  • Organized, dependable, and ready to lead when needed.
  • Experienced (or interested) in working with providers and understanding the bigger picture of whole-person health.
