Project Controls Lead
Montana Apothecary & Compounding, the NEW modern apothecary, is looking for a project clinical lead to support the company’s new brick and mortar compounding pharmacy, quality controlled lab, and front end retail space! This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.
- Bachelor’s (Required)
- Work authorization (Required)
- 2+ years of experience with clinical operations, clinical training, and change management within healthcare and/or digital health; high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience and passion for working closely with clinicians and clinical leadership
- Strong project management skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results in cross-functional meetings and teams with minimal support
- Fluent in using data to measure progress and impact on key metrics
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to innovate and creatively solve problems in a highly collaborative manner
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and balance priorities in a dynamic and constantly evolving work environment

- The Project Controls Lead will lead the day-to-day operations of the clinical hormone replace therapy and low dose naltrexone programs.
- Support the implementation and development of the clinical programs as well as resources for patients in close collaboration with pharmacists, providers, pharmacy technicians and other partners.
- Build the right resources, information, and processes to enable successful replication across different programs, scaling our efforts (e.g. live training, asynchronous learning resources, documentation, FAQs, etc.)
- Define metrics of success and manage to those benchmarks; track metrics, report out, and identify areas for improvement for clinical training programs
- Serve as an all-around team player to build and grow the clinical programs.
- Participate in weekly meetings and communicate any quality issues/concerns to the Pharmacist In Charge.

Compounding Pharmacy Technician

The Compounding Pharmacy Technician will help process the day-to-day functions of filling prescriptions while supporting the brand’s initiatives throughout the Great Falls community.
The candidate would have expertise with, or understanding of the medical space and have some experience working in customer experience.
Reporting to the Pharmacist In Charge, the candidate will work collaboratively with a diverse pool of co-workers, including toggery staff of habit’ in the health and wellness space.
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Pharmacy compounding: 1 year (Required)
- Work authorization (Required)
- Passion and demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical abbreviations.
- 1+ years experience in compounding with demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical generic and trade names and their dosage forms, and the ability to cross-reference the most common drugs from memory.
- Pharmacy Technician License in Montana
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- Perform the data entry, filling and labeling of compounded/legend products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Become an expert in USP 795/USP 800 guidelines to be able to competently compounding on a day to day basis.
- Manage individual and team progress throughout the day to ensure that compounds are completed in a timely manner with little oversight.
- Ensure proper cleaning of materials and equipment for entry into controlled areas.
- Ensure that glassware and laboratory devices are adequately cleaned and processed.
- Usage of machinery including unguators and ointment mills.
- Communication with the Pharmacist In Charge for timely processing of products.
- Ensuring that strict procedures are followed and used around the facility to maintain quality control.
- Maintaining clean work area and proper adherence to cGMP and GDP practices.
- Monitor facility critical functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain and adhere to safe work procedures and guidelines.
- Execute instructions in order to perform equipment preparation, compounding, formulation, fill and testing activities in accordance with standard operating procedures and batch records.
- Ensure environmental monitoring and personnel monitoring is performed during each batch and gowning session.
- Ensure sanitization and sterilization practices are always followed in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure documentation is Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original and Accurate.
- Work with cross-functional team members to ensure all departments achieve the same daily production goals.
- Participate in bi-weekly meetings and communicate any quality issues/concerns to the Pharmacist In Charge.
- Perform routine critical daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning procedures.
$16 – $25 an hour | Part-Time

The Certified Pharmacy Lead Tech / Retail Lead will help process the day-to-day functions of filling prescriptions while supporting the brand’s initiatives throughout the Great Falls community. This lead position will train all new technicians to the pharmacy in compounding skills, utilizing an approachable management style.
The candidate would have expertise with, or understanding of the medical space and have some experience working in customer experience.

- High school or equivalent (Required)
